Terms of Use

The app and Apple’s license

WidgetFold is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these terms and Apple’s agreement differ, Apple’s agreement applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or for supporting it; we are.

No account

WidgetFold has no account of its own. You don’t sign up or sign in. Purchases belong to your Apple Account, and your designs belong to your device and, if you turn it on, your own iCloud.

Free and Pro

• Your first widget is free, and stays free and editable for as long as you keep the app.
• WidgetFold Pro unlocks unlimited widgets, every design, and iCloud sync. Every plan includes the same features.

Subscriptions

• WidgetFold Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, billed weekly, monthly, or yearly. The App Store shows the price in your currency before you confirm.
• The yearly plan may start with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly price is charged.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings, under Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the period you paid for ends.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

When a subscription ends

Your designs are never deleted because a subscription ends. They stay on your device, the widgets already on your screens keep working, and your first widget stays editable. Editing the others or making new ones needs Pro again.

iCloud

iCloud sync is optional and uses your own private iCloud database, under Apple’s terms. If iCloud is off or full, WidgetFold keeps working on the device.

Your content

The text, photos, and designs you put in widgets are yours. Use WidgetFold only for content you have the right to use. The templates, artwork, and app itself remain ours.

The app as it is

We work to keep WidgetFold reliable, but it’s provided as is. Widgets update when iOS lets them, and live information such as weather, calendar, or health depends on Apple’s services and your permissions. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or incidental losses from using the app.

Changes

If these terms change, we’ll update this page and its date. Material changes to subscriptions will never apply to a period you’ve already paid for. See also our Privacy Policy.
